Through joint research by Mori Food Industry Co., Ltd. of Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture and the Food Technology Division of the Prefectural Industrial Technology Center, a method was established to reduce cyanide compounds in apricot seeds, the raw material, to a safe level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, in 2024, the legal issues were resolved, paving the way for the use of domestically produced apricot frost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative also contributes to the utilization of food residues and is in line with the principles of the SDGs.
