74th Nagano Prefecture Miso Competition – October 21, 2025
The 74th Nagano Prefecture Miso Competition was held at the auditorium on the 4th floor of the Food Technology Division, Industrial Technology Comprehensive Center.
A total of 101 entries from 27 companies were evaluated for color, aroma, and taste, including:
- 21 light-colored strained miso
- 18 light-colored chunky miso
- 7 light-colored Category II miso
- 21 red strained miso
- 26 red chunky miso
- 8 diversified miso varieties
The light-colored Category II division was resumed for the first time in several years.
Results will be announced at a later date.
