Takane Ruby Honey Wins Award at Central Contest for Excellent Local Foods!

Takano Co., Ltd. (Miyada Village) received the Chairman’s Award for their “Takane Ruby Honey” in the Domestic Agricultural and Forestry Products Utilization Division of the 2025 Central Contest for Excellent Local Foods. This rare honey, harvested by Japanese honeybees from the red buckwheat “Takane Ruby”, is known for its mild flavor and rich, fruity sweetness. It pairs well with bread, yogurt, and ice cream. The brand logo and package design were supported by Design Support Nagano in 2021.
