The Nagano Prefecture General Industrial Technology Center Food Technology Department had been recruiting businesses with the enthusiasm and capability to engage in the research and development of new foods, including functional foods, for its “Innovation Room.” The user has now been decided.

Development Theme: “Utilization of apricot seeds in food production and upcycling of food residues”
The company will work on developing food products using domestically produced apricot kernels, a previously impossible feat.
Usage Period: From July 1, 2025 (Reiwa 7) to June 30, 2026 (Reiwa 8)
