GI Nagano “Wine” and NAC “Cider” certified

GI Nagano Wine and NAC Cider Certification Committee, August 5, 2025

The Sensory Evaluation Committee, which certifies the 17th GI Nagano Wine and the 38th NAC Cider, met on the 4th floor of the Food Technology Department of the Industrial Technology Center.

As a result of the evaluation, 43 wines (32 GI Nagano Premium and 11 GI Nagano) and 3 ciders were certified.

GI: ​​Geographical Indication. This designation recognizes products produced in Nagano Prefecture that demonstrate clear regional characteristics and meet established production standards.

NAC: Nagano Prefecture Appellation of Origin Control System. This designation recognizes products produced and manufactured in Nagano Prefecture, with the aim of branding Nagano agricultural products.
