GI Nagano “Sake” Sensory Evaluation Committee – February 12, 2026
A sensory evaluation committee was held in Suwa City to assess applications for certification under the “Geographical Indication (GI) Nagano” for sake—made exclusively from Nagano-grown ingredients and produced within the prefecture—as well as under the “Nagano Appellation Control (NAC)” system. A total of 30 entries were certified.
