GI Nagano Wine Sensory Evaluation Committee – November 13, 2025

At the Food Technology Division of the Industrial Technology Center, the 18th GI Nagano Wine Sensory Evaluation Committee was held. A total of 21 wines from 6 producers were certified (14 GI Nagano Premium wines and 7 GI Nagano wines).

Note: “GI Nagano” is a new brand of sake and wine produced in Nagano Prefecture, inheriting the concept of the “Nagano Prefecture Appellation Control System.” Only products that meet certain quality standards, made from grapes grown within the prefecture and brewed, stored, and bottled locally, and that pass both physicochemical testing and sensory evaluation, are certified as “GI Nagano” or “GI Nagano Premium.”
