62nd Nagano Prefecture Soy Sauce Tasting Competition Award Ceremony

The award ceremony for the Nagano Soy Sauce Tasting Competition, held on January 30, 2025, was conducted in the auditorium on the 4th floor of the Food Technology Department of the Comprehensive Industrial Technology Center.
From the 18 entries of koikuchi (dark soy sauce) and 8 entries of usukuchi (light soy sauce), the Nagano Governor’s Award and the Excellence Award were selected.

The award-winning breweries are as follows:

Koikuchi Category

  • Nagano Governor’s Award: Marusho Brewery Co., Ltd. (Matsumoto City), Marui Soy Sauce Co., Ltd. (Nakano City)
  • Excellence Award: Yamamoto Koji Store (Sakuho Town)

Usukuchi Category

  • Nagano Governor’s Award: Matsumoto Soy Sauce Cooperative (Matsumoto City)
  • Excellence Award: Matsuokaya Brewery Co., Ltd. (Iida City)
