The results of the National New Sake Tasting Competition held at the National Research Institute of Brewing have been announced.
27 sake entries from Nagano Prefecture won prizes, of which 12 were awarded gold medals.
This year’s gold medal winners came from Hyogo and Fukushima prefectures with 16, followed by Niigata prefecture with 15, and Nagano prefecture with 12, placing Nagano fourth in the nation in the number of awards.
